July 8, 1978, 24" x 24" x 2" oil on cradled wood panel

I imagine an epic July day in the city where people are outside because the sun is bright, and everyone wants to socialize. This couple are in the middle of a fun and possibly flirty exchange in front of the suit store next to a boat of a car. This was a fun painting to tackle and my imagination took hold as I painted the scene. It will be shown in the corridors at Artspace during the next three months but is available for purchase. The panel has natural sides and does not need a frame. It would looks amazing in a modern home’s living room, bedroom or dining room. This painting is currently on view at Artspace in Raleigh.
