Frequently Asked Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I find out about your newest work and events?
The best way to find out about new paintings, events and special offers is to subscribe to my newsletter or follow me on Instagram
Where are your paintings shipped from, and how are they packaged?
I ship every painting myself from my studio in Apex, North Carolina. Each piece is carefully packaged to arrive safely, and I'll send you tracking information once it's on its way.
Do you offer local pickup or delivery?
Yes! If you're in the Triangle area, I'm happy to arrange a time to meet and hand-deliver your painting. Just choose the local meet-up option and I will email you so we can figure out the details.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, I do not ship internationally. If interested, please reach out individually through email if you need international shipping and I can research costs and we can review costs together.
How long does it take for shipping?
I will package your painting and ship it, usually within 2-3 days. You will receive a tracking number to track your package’s delivery. If you need expedited shipping, let me know and I can provide you quotes for faster shipping.
Are your paintings framed?
Most paintings come either framed or wired and ready to hang, however there are some that are unframed. Each painting's individual description will specify exactly what to expect, and will give suggestions for framing if needed. If you have questions about a particular piece, feel free to ask before purchasing.
What is your return policy?
If a painting isn't right for you, I accept returns received to the studio within 14 days of delivery to you. The piece must be returned in its original packaging and condition, and return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. If you are local to the Triangle, I am happy to meet you. Full refund will be processed after the piece has been received in original condition.
Do you take commissions?
I consider commissions on a case-by-case basis, depending on my current studio schedule. If you have something in mind, send me a message and I'll let you know if it's a good fit. If you see a painting that has sold that you love, I am happy to discuss with you creating a similar custom painting for you. All commissions have a 10% fee for customization, and a 50% non-refundable deposit.
What medium do you work in?
I paint in oils, primarily alla prima. I work both en plein air and in the studio, and I'm drawn to natural light and the unrepeatable quality of a moment caught quickly.
How do I know if a painting is still available?
Each piece on my website reflects current availability. If something catches your eye, don't wait too long — original paintings are one of a kind!
Can I see a painting in person before buying?
If you're local to the Triangle area, I'd be happy to arrange a meet up or possible studio visit. For those farther away, feel free to ask for additional photos or details about a piece.
