Great News! Clark Hulings Fund Art-Business Accelerator Fellowship

I am beyond thrilled to announce that I have been chosen to be a Clark Hulings Fund Art-Business Accelerator Fellow for 2019. This intensive and competitive opportunity is a goal I have been working toward for over two years (I applied for this fellowship in 2017 too.) The Clark Hulings Fund is a non-profit organization that provides visual artists with business training to create self-sustaining and thriving art practices. I have been following their organization and learning through their online educational tools, but this opportunity takes that work to the next level. I know it will be an opportunity for exponential growth over the next year and I am really looking forward to it. Announcement of the 2019 Fellows:

The holidays have come early this year for a group of talented and dedicated visual artists. It is my pleasure to announce that CHF is awarding 16 Fellowships for our 2019 Art-Business Accelerator, an innovative and comprehensive incubator program designed to accelerate the careers of working artists. Starting in January, the selected artists will participate in our yearlong virtual course of business study, which equips visual artists to succeed as entrepreneurs and make a complete living through the creation of their art.

Simultaneously, we are graduating 12 senior-level Fellows who are completing their second year in the Accelerator. Some of those artists will now transition into the role of Fellow Advisors or serve as pep-squad community members for the upcoming year. And the cycle of giving continues.

Located all over the US, the new Fellows work in a variety of mediums and have established themselves with a body of work that’s been proven to be viable in the market. They’ve each identified core business skills they need to acquire or hone in order to truly thrive, and now they are excited about the results they’ll be producing during a year of intensive investment in their brands. We’re equally excited to work with them and look forward to sharing their progress with you!
